Description

CERTAIN AFTERMARKET LINK LIFTABLE SUSPENSIONS, MODEL 8A000490 DURALIFT II 13.2K, CONTAINING THE ALUMINUM CROSS-MEMBER MANUFACTURED FROM JULY 20, 2005, TO MARCH 16, 2007, SOLD FOR USE ON CERTAIN CLASS 7 AND CLASS 8 TRUCKS. BENDING AND FATIGUE CRACKS CAN OCCUR IN THE CROSS-MEMBER.

Injuries / Consequence

OVER TIME, THE CROSS-MEMBER CAN FAIL INITIATING A VEHICLE SHIMMY THAT COULD CAUSE LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL, POSSIBLE RESULTING IN A CRASH.

Remedy
