Air Bag Warning Labels May Detach/FMVSS 208

Description

Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh Defense) is recalling certain 2025 NGDV delivery vehicles. The air bag warning label on the sun visor may detach. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Injuries / Consequence

A missing label cannot warn occupants about the risks of air bag deployment, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy

Oshkosh Defense will replace the sun visor assembly and add an electric shock warning label as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 18, 2025. Owners may contact Oshkosh customer service at 1-833-304-8100. Oshkosh's number for this recall is NGDV_TSB_040.
