Description

PETERBILT IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010 320 TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH HENDRICKSON HLR2 NON-STEERING PUSHER AXLE FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS." THE TRUCKS WERE NOT MANUFACTURED WITH THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF AIR TANKS FOR PROPER OPERATION OF THE VEHICLE'S BRAKE SYSTEM.

THIS SITUATION MAY IMPACT THE OPERATOR'S ABILITY TO STOP THE VEHICLE WHICH MAY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT INVOLVING DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY.
