Description

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain Mopar All-Weather Floor Mat Kits (Crew - Big/Horn/Laramie, and Crew - Laramie with product numbers 82215320AB, 82215320AC, 82215321AB, 82215321AC, 82215322AB, 82215323AB, 82215322AC, 82215323AC, 82215421AB, 82215421AC, 82215422AB, and 82215422AC) sold as accessory equipment in 2018, 2019 and 2020 for use in 2019-2020 Ram 1500 vehicles with adjustable pedals. In certain accelerator pedal positions, the floormats may prevent the pedal from returning to the normal resting (idle) position.

Injuries / Consequence

A pedal that does not return as expected may affect the vehicle's deceleration, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will modify the driver's floormat to remove the potential for pedal interference, free of charge. The recall began September 10, 2020. Owners may contact FCA US LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US LLC's number for this recall is W64.
