Description

Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain alternator belts. Please see the safety recall report for a complete list of affected part numbers. In the event of the alternator front bearing seizing, the alternator belt may continue to operate, causing the bearing to overheat.

Injuries / Consequence

An overheated alternator bearing can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Prevost will replace the alternator belt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 26, 2022. Owners may contact Prevost customer service at 1-866-870-2046.
