Description

CAR ADAPTER FOR CYBERHOME PORTABLE DVD PLAYER, HSN ITEM #707613 AND SOLD IN MARCH 2003. THE PLAYER MAY BECOME VERY HOT WHEN USED WITH THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY IN PLACE.

Injuries / Consequence

USING THE CAR ADAPTER WITH THE BATTERY CAN CAUSE THE ADAPTER TO OVERHEAT AND POSSIBLY MELT, CREATING A RISK OF FIRE IF FLAMMABLE MATERIAL IS NEARBY.

Remedy

ARGUS WILL MAIL REPLACEMENT ADAPTERS TO ITS CUSTOMERS FREE OF CHARGE. OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN APRIL 18, 2003. OWNERS WHO DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT ARGUS ELECTRONICS AT 888-274-8740.
