Description

Cognito Motorsports (Cognito) is recalling certain Rev C Ball Joints with part number 91253, for installation on 2011-2025 GMC and Chevrolet 2500HD and 3500HD trucks. The ball stud may pull through the housing, causing the upper control arm to disengage.

Injuries / Consequence

An upper control arm that disengages can cause a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Owners are advised not to drive their trucks until the repair has been completed. Cognito will inspect and repair or replace the ball joints, free of charge.
