Battery Cables May Overheat and Cause Fire

Description

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024 FOSV-CA vehicles. The interconnect battery cable routed between the chassis battery and the auxiliary batteries may overheat.

Injuries / Consequence

An overheated battery cable increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will reroute the interconnect connections to the fused terminal, replace the interconnect battery cables with higher-gauge cables, and inspect and replace the solenoid as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 21, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is MAB-3258.
