Description

ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, A FUEL VALVE'S OUTLET NIPPLE, TO WHICH THE FUEL LINE ATTACHES, MAY PULL OUT OF THE FUEL VALVE, ALLOWING FUEL TO EXIT ONTO THE MOTOR AND PRIMARY DRIVE.

Injuries / Consequence

FUEL SPILLAGE, IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL (SHUT OFF) VALVE. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN APRIL 1, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT BIG DOG AT 1-316-267-2597.
