Description

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Altec Aerial Device, Digger Derrick, and Pressure Digger vehicles. The chassis ignition circuit may be overloaded, which can result in a blown fuse and cause an engine shutdown.

Injuries / Consequence

An engine shutdown increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Altec will rewire the accessory circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 8, 2024. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3185.
