Description

The recall involves all models and packages of the Model Years 2005 and 2006 Mach Z and all models and packages of the Model Year 2006 MX Z Renegade 1000 Ski-Doo® snowmobiles. The Mach Z model was available in black and the MXZ model was available in black or yellow. Model name is located on the side panels.

Injuries / Consequence

BRP has received six reported incidents of fragmentation. There have been three reported injuries, including a laceration to a rider's foot that required stitches and one rider, who suffered a fractured toe.

Remedy

Consumers with recalled snowmobiles are being sent direct notice from BRP. Consumers should stop using these vehicles immediately and contact a local Ski-Doo dealer to schedule an appointment for a free repair.
