Description

Tremcar is recalling certain 2018-2020 406 and 707 semi-trailers. The washers used for mounting the brake actuators may fracture, allowing the actuators to loosen, potentially reducing the braking ability.

Injuries / Consequence

A reduction in the braking performance can lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Tremcar will notify owners, and TSE Brakes will provide replacement brake actuator mounting washers and nuts, free of charge. The recall began March 30, 2020. Owners may contact Tremcar customer service at 1-800-363-2158.
