Description

ON CERTAIN TRUCK CAB AND CHASSIS VEHICLES, A BRAKE AIR LINE COULD BECOME DISCONNECTED.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS COULD CAUSE A DECREASE OF BRAKING ABILITY OR THE PARKING BRAKE TO APPLY WITHOUT BEING ACTIVATED, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT EACH VEHICLE AND CHECK THE TORQUE ON THE NUTS. IF THE NUTS ARE NOT TORQUED PROPERLY, THEY WILL BE TIGHTENED TO THE PROPER SPECIFICATION. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JUNE 4, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HINO AT 1-248-648-6400.
