Description

Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. (MPA) is recalling certain brake calipers with part numbers BC155111 and BC155110 sold as replacement parts for 2008-2025 Ford E-450 Super Duty vehicles. The caliper piston bore wall may not meet the proper specification, causing the caliper to fracture.

Injuries / Consequence

A fractured brake caliper can cause loss of brake fluid and brake pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

MPA will work with and reimburse independent third-party installers who will inspect and replace the rear brake calipers, free of charge. Notification schedule has not been determined yet. Owners may contact MPA customer service at 1-833-758-0239.
