Description

ON CERTAIN CHASSIS, TRUCKS, AND TRACTORS EQUIPPED WITH AIR BRAKES, THE PUSH ROD THAT CONNECTS THE BRAKE PEDAL TO THE BRAKE VALVE WAS MANUFACTURED INCORRECTLY AND COULD BREAK UNDER CERTAIN LOADING CONDITIONS.

Injuries / Consequence

IF THIS PUSH ROD BREAKS WHILE A VEHICLE IS IN OPERATION, A PARTIAL LOSS OF SERVICE BRAKING MAY BE EXPERIENCED. THIS COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT WARNING.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE PUSH RODS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JUNE 3, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT INTERNATIONAL AT 1-800-448-7825.
