Brakes May Not Operate as Intended

Recalled: October 24, 2025 ~18 units affected 25V724

Description

Wartech Engineering, LLC (Wartech) is recalling certain 2022-2025 SpecialContainer trailers. The incorrect threaded piping fitting may have been installed between the anti-lock braking system (ABS) module and the air tank. The fitting may leak air, decreasing the pneumatic brake pressure.

Injuries / Consequence

An air leak can cause the unintentional activation of the brakes. Reduced brake pressure can increase the distance required to stop. Either scenario increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Owners are advised not to tow their trailer until the repairs are completed. Wartech will replace the fitting, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 13, 2025. Owners may contact Wartech's customer service at 1-734-429-2002.
