Description

AN IMPROPER SIZE SECTION OF BRAKE LINE WAS INSTALLED IN THE AIR SUPPLY LINE TO THE FRONT AXLE BRAKE CHAMBERS WHICH AFFECTS THE BRAKE ACTUATION TIME. THIS DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS."

CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: REDUCED BRAKING CAPABILITY CAN OCCUR INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE INCORRECT BRAKE LINE.
