THE AIR BRAKE HOSE OF THE ASSEMBLY DOES NOT MEET ADHESION REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 106.

Injuries / Consequence

THE LOW ADHESION PROPERTY OF THE HOSE LEADS TO AIR BEINGTRAPPED BETWEEN THE PLIES, BALLOONING INWARD, CAUSING HOSE BLOCKAGE. HOSEBLOCKAGE RESULTS IN SLOW BRAKING OR COMPLETE BRAKE FAILURE.

Remedy

REPLACE NONCOMPLYING AIR BRAKE HOSE ASSEMBLIES.
