THE RUBBER SEAT ON THE ARMATURE OF THE SOLENOIDS CAN SWELL CAUSING THE NORMALLY OPEN INLET SOLENOID TO RESTRICT OR BLOCK THE TRAILER SERVICE BRAKE CONTROL AIR PRESSURE PASSAGE.

RESTRICTION CAUSES REDUCED TRAILER SERVICE BRAKINGACTION. BLOCKAGE CAUSES COMPLETE LOSS OF TRAILER SERVICE BRAKING ACTION. THEREIS NO WARNING OF THE DETERIORATION OF THE TRAILER SERVICE BRAKES, WHICH CANRESULT IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.
