ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE "O" RING SEAL WHICH THE CHECK VALVE SEALS ON IN THE POWER PISTON OF THE HYDRAULIC CYLINDER MAY FAIL. THIS FAILURE CAN CAUSE LOSS OF BRAKE HOLDING CAPABILITY BUT WILL NOT AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICE BRAKES.
Remedy
DEALER WILL INSPECT AND WILL REPLACE THE EXISTING UNIT WITH A NEW ONE, WHEN AVAILABLE, OR REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE.
