HUB MOUNTING FACE DIAMETER OF DRUM MAY BE IMPROPERLY MACHINED CAUSING A LINE CONTACT INTERFERENCE OF THE HUB AND DRUM ASSEMBLY, LOOSENING OF THE WHEEL NUT AND WHEEL STUD FRACTURE.

Injuries / Consequence

FRACTURE OF ALL WHEEL STUDS COULD RESULT IN SEPARATION OF THE WHEEL SET FROM THE VEHICLE AFFECTING VEHICLE CONTROL AND STABILITY.

Remedy

REPLACE DRUMS WITH NEW DRUMS MACHINED TO PROPER DIMENSION.
