BRP Recalls Snowmobiles Due to Fire Hazard
Description
This recall involves the Ski-Doo snowmobiles model year 2010 Expedition TUV 1200 and model year 2010 Expedition TUV SE 1200. The model year and name are displayed on each side of the snowmobile and on a decal on the right side of the snowmobile.
Injuries / Consequence
BRP has received six reports of fuel leaks, three of which resulted in vehicle fires. One of the incidents involved a rider suffering superficial burns.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using these snowmobiles immediately and contact their local Ski-Doo snowmobile dealer to schedule a free repair. Registered owners have been directly notified about this recall by mail.
