Description

N&B Mobility Solutions LLC (Nivion) is recalling certain Nivion NSP01 charger adapters. Insufficient clearance between direct-current (DC) busbars inside the charger adapter can lead to electrical arcing. Also, the adapter is missing an electrical status switch to prevent disconnection while charging.

Injuries / Consequence

Inadequate clearance between DC busbars may cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire. Additionally, disconnecting the adaptor during charging increases the risk of injury by electrical shock.

Remedy

Nivion will replace the defective adapters, free of charge. Owners may contact Nivion customer service at 1-307-243-4122.
