COOPER ZEON 2XS TIRES, SIZE 22545R18 RE PRODUCED BETWEEN MARCH 28 AND APRIL 10, 2004. THESE TIRES MAY BE PRONE TO TREAD CHUNKING WHICH AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS COULD LEAD TO TREAD SEPARATION.

TREAD SEPARATION COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
Remedy
COOPER WILL NOTIFY ITS CUSTOMERS, REPLACE, MOUNT, AND BALANCE THE TIRES AT NO CHARGE IF YOU PRESENT COOPER FOR REMEDY WITHIN SIXTY (60) DAYS AFTER; RECEIPT OF THE NOTIFICATION LETTER OR NOTICE THAT A REPLACEMENT TIRE IS AVAILABLE (IF NOT AVAILABLE AT TIME OF INSPECTION). OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN MAY 11, 2004. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT COOPER TIRE CUSTOMER RELATIONS AT (800) 854-6288.
