Description
The treadmill measures 62 inches high, 79 inches long, and 35 inches wide. It is gray and has a gray control panel. The name "Tredex 10.0" appears on the control console of the treadmill and on the motor cover of the treadmill. This recall includes only the Tredex 10.0 model treadmill.
Injuries / Consequence
Sportcraft received nine reports of unexpected acceleration, including five reports of injuries. The injuries included sprains to the back, shoulder and knees, and cuts and abrasions to various parts of the body.
Remedy
Stop using the Tredex 10.0 treadmill immediately. Firm no longer in business. Recall remedy no longer available. Discard the product. Do not donate or resell.
