EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: AFTERMARKET DRAG LINK (CONNECTING ROD) ASSEMBLIES FOR USE ON 1988-1998 CHEVROLET ASTRO AND GMC SAFARI MINI VANS. INCORRECT NUTS MAY HAVE BEEN PACKAGED AND SHIPPED WITH DRAG LINKS. SEPARATION BETWEEN THE NUT AND THE MATING COMPONENT (DRAG LINK) CAN OCCUR.

THIS CONDITION CAN CAUSE A LOSS OF STEERING INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH.
