Description

Alamo Group Inc. (Alamo) is recalling certain 2012-2021 Schwarze A7 CNG, A8 CNG, and A9 CNG street sweepers mounted on Freightliner M2-112 chassis and equipped with a horizontal exhaust system. Lightweight debris, such as leaves, may build up in front of the sweeping head and accumulate against the chassis exhaust system.

Injuries / Consequence

Debris against the exhaust system increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will install an exhaust tailpipe extension tube, free of charge. Owners notification letters were mailed on January 14, 2022. Owners may contact Alamo Group customer service at 1-830-379-1480.
