Description

ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE REAR DRAG LINK-THROUGH BOLT MAY BEND AND, IF NOT REPLACED OR OVERLOADED, MAY FRACTURE CAUSING THE REAR TIRE TO CONTACT THE UNDERSIDE OF THE REAR MUDGUARD.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS COULD CAUSE A LOSS OF CONTROL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSTALL A HIGHER GRADE NUT THAN THE ORIGINAL ARRANGEMENT AND A SINGLE-THROUGH SLEEVE (THE ORIGINAL DESIGN INCLUDED 3 SEPARATE SLEEVES). THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 5, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TRIUMPH AT 1-678-854-2010.
