Driver's Air Bag May Not Deploy/FMVSS 208

Recalled: March 14, 2024 ~10,908 units affected 24E025

Description

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain MOPAR steering column control modules, used as replacement parts in certain 2017-2024 Jeep, Chrysler, and Ram vehicles. Please see the attached documents for specific part numbers and vehicle compatibility information. The steering column control module may not be welded properly, which can prevent the driver's air bag from deploying in a crash.
