Description

Federal Coach, Inc. (Federal) is recalling certain model year 2010 Spirit and Premier transit buses, equipped with A&M Systems-brand door actuators. Voltage spikes may damage electrical components and electrical circuits, causing the actuator's circuit board to develop high resistance.

Injuries / Consequence

High resistance may cause the board to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Federal notified owners and dealers will replace the circuit board, free of charge. The recall began in June 2014. Owners may contact Federal at 1-800-348-7440.
