Description

CRANE CARRIER IS RECALLING THREE MODEL YEAR 2009 LET2 HEV, CAB AND CHASSIS UTILITY VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM APRIL 24, 2009, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 15, 2009, AND EQUIPPED WITH ELFA TRACTION DRIVE MOTORS. THE ELECTRIC MOTOR’S SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL MAY BE MISINTERPRETED BY THE MOTOR CONTROLLER AND MAY RESULT IN THE VEHICLE LURCHING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF THE RANGE SELECTED WITH THE SHIFTER.

Injuries / Consequence

THE UNINTENDED MOVEMENT OF THE VEHICLE MAY CAUSE A COLLISION WITH A PERSON OR OBJECT, LEADING TO PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
