Description

DYNAMAX CORPORATION IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010 AND 2011 ISATA, DYNAQEUST ST, DYNAQUEST XL, AND GRAND SPORT MOTOR HOMES MANUFACTURED FROM APRIL 2, 2010, THROUGH JUNE 30, 2010, EQUIPPED WITH XANTREX FREEDOM SW 3000 INVERTER/CHARGES. DUE TO POOR SOLDERING IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO INADEQUATELY TORQUED BUS BARS IN THE PRODUCT, MELTED SOLDER CAN RESULT IN A SHORT CIRCUIT FAILURE.

Injuries / Consequence

A SHORT CIRCUIT CAN RESULT IN THE UNIT OVERHEATING, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A FIRE.

Remedy

DYNAMAX WILL NOTIFY THE OWNERS AND WILL REPLACE THE AFFECTED UNITS WITH A NEW XANTREX FREEDOM INVERTER/CHARGER THAT CONTAINS A TEMPERATURE SENSOR FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 15, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DYNAMAX AT 1-574-262-3474.
