Description

THE AIR STARTER CONTROL VALVE IS EQUIPPED WITH A MANUAL OVERRIDE PUSH-BUTTON WHICH BYPASSES THE NORMAL NEUTRAL SAFETY INTERLOCK AND IS NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD 102, "TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER SEQUENCE, STARTER INTERLOCK, AND TRANSMISSION BRAKING EFFECT".

Remedy

AIR STARTER CONTROL VALVE WILL BE REMOVED IF IT IS EQUIPPED WITH A MANUAL OVERRIDE PUSH-BUTTON FEATURE AND WILL BE REPLACED WITH ONE THAT DOES NOT CONTAIN THIS FEATURE.
