THE WIRES OF A 12-VOLT SOLENOID LOCATED INSIDE THE SIDE PLATE BEHIND THE DRIVER'S SEAT CAN SHORT ON THE SOLENOID CASE.

THIS CONDITION COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE FIRE.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE SOLENOID AND REWIRE THE SWITCHING SYSTEM USING AN EXISTING INTERNAL RELAY.
