Description

THE METAL SHEATHING OF THE PARKING BRAKE CABLE CAN SEPARATE ALLOWING THE INNER LOAD BEARING CABLE TO PULL THROUGH THE HOUSING, RELAXING CABLE TENSION AND RELEASING THE PARKING BRAKE.

Injuries / Consequence

RELEASING THE PARKING BRAKE WITHOUT OPERATOR INTENT CANCAUSE VEHICLE ROLLAWAY AND RESULT IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

Remedy

REPLACE THE PARKING BRAKE CABLE.
