Description

STRAPS HOLDING THE SLEEPER UPPER BUNK IN THE RAISED POSITION CAN RELEASE WITHOUT WARNING.

Injuries / Consequence

IF THE RESTRAINING STRAP RELEASES SUDDENLY, THE BUNKFALLS WITHOUT WARNING AND CAN STRIKE AN OCCUPANT SITTING IN THE LOWER BUNK CAUSING PERSONAL INJURY.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL MODIFY THE ATTACHMENT OF THE UPPER BUNK RESTRAINING STRAP TO THE UPPER BUNK AND REAR WALL OF THE SLEEPER AND INSTALL A NEW REDESIGNED BUNK RESTRAINING STRAP.
