SEAT BUCKLE AND TONGUE MAY NOT PROPERLY ENGAGE WHEN LATCHED AND WOULD NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 213.

Injuries / Consequence

LATCH MECHANISM MAY APPEAR TO BE LOCKED, BUT IT IS FALSELY LOCKED; THE LATCH COULD COME OPEN AND EJECT THE CHILD IN AN ACCIDENT OR SUDDEN STOP, SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCING THE PROTECTION PROVIDED TO THE CHILD.
