Description

MOLDING DEFECTS ON FUSE HOLDERS COULD CAUSE THEM TO BREAK AND SHORT CIRCUIT BETWEEN THE POSITIVE LEAD AND THE CHASSIS.

Injuries / Consequence

WIRING AROUND SHORT CIRCUIT COULD BURN SINCE THE FUSE IS BYPASSED IN CIRCUIT TO THE BATTERY, AND A VEHICLE FIRE COULD RESULT.

Remedy

REPLACE DEFECTIVE FUSE HOLDERS.
