EQUIPMENT:JACKS

Recalled: October 12, 1979 ~150 units affected 79E014

Description

THE INVOLVED JACK BRACKET ASSEMBLIES WERE IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED. THESE UNITS WERE SUPPLIED WITH A SIX-INCH DIAMETER PLATE-TYPE FOOT OF NEW DESIGN, INSTEAD OF THE FOLDING TRIPOD BOTTOM TYPE ASSEMBLY. THE PLATE-TYPE FOOT PERMITS THE JACK TO MOVE OR CREEP WHILE SUPPORTING THE CAMPER. THIS COULD CAUSE THE JACK ASSEMBLY TO COLLAPSE.
