THE COUNTER BALANCE VALVE COULD FAIL AND ALLOW THE HYDRAULIC BOOM LIFT TO LOWER WITHOUT WARNING. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: SHOULD THE BOOM LOWER WITH A VEHICLE IN TOW, A VEHICLE CRASH COULD OCCUR.

Remedy

INSTALL NEW COUNTER BALANCE VALVES NOT SUBJECT TO THIS DEFECT.
