Description

ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE WORD "FUEL" IS MISSING FROM THE LABEL FOR THE FUEL TANK SHUT-OFF VALVE. THIS CONSTITUTES A NON-COMPLIANCE TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 123, "MOTORCYCLE CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS". DUE TO THIS OMISSION, THE OPERATOR MAY BE UNABLE TO LOCATE THE SHUT-OFF VALVE TO STOP THE FLOW OF FUEL FROM THE TANK.

Remedy

OWNER WILL BE SENT THE PROPER IDENTIFICATION LABEL. THIS MAY BE INSTALLED BY THE OWNER OR BY THE DEALER, IF PREFERRED.
