THE INVOLVED BACKREST MAY BREAK AT THE POINT WHERE THE ROUND TUBE MATERIAL IS FLATTENED TO FACILITATE MECHANICAL ATTACHMENTS TO A LUGGAGE CARRIER PRODUCED BY THE SAME MANUFACTURER. THIS CRACKING IS BELIEVED TO BE CAUSED BY MOTORCYCLE VIBRATION.
