IF MALFUNCTION OCCURS WHILE OPERATOR IS AT PLATFORMCONTROL, SUDDEN STOPPING OF MOTION AND THEN SUDDEN CONTINUATION OF MOVEMENTCOULD ENDANGER OCCUPANTS ON THE PLATFORM.
