THE ROBERTSHAW BURNER CONTROL VALVES WERE NOT ASSEMBLED WITH FASTENERS SET TO THE PROPER TORQUE SPECIFICATION.

Injuries / Consequence

THE IMPROPERLY ASSEMBLED FASTENERS COULD BECOME UNSEATEDFROM THE VALVE BODY RESULTING IN A GAS LEAK AND AN EVENTUAL RISK OF FIRE.

Remedy

RETROFIT CONTROL VALVES WITH PROPERLY TORQUED FASTENERS.
