Description

THE INVOLVED FIFTH WHEEL COUPLERS MAY CONTAIN DEFECTIVE CLEVIS PINS WHICH COULD DEVELOP STRESS CRACKS IN THE AREA OF THE 1/4 INCH DIAMETER HOLE WHERE THE COTTER PIN IS INSTALLED. THIS CONDITION COULD CAUSE THE CLEVIS PIN TO SHEAR IN HALF.

Remedy

OWNER WILL BE SENT THE NECESSARY MATERIALS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION OF NEW CLEVIS AND COTTER PINS.
