Description

WHEN DIESEL FUEL TANK IS FILLED, THE WEIGHT OF THE UNIT EXCEEDS THE RATED CAPACITY OF THE TIRES AND, IN SOME INSTANCES, THE RATED CAPACITY OF THE AXLE. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: OVERLOADED TIRES COULD BLOWOUT CAUSING THE TRAILER TO SWERVE AND EVENTUALLY BREAK ITS HITCH; THIS COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.

Remedy

REPLACE WHEEL ASSEMBLIES AND ADJUST AXLE RATING, AS NECESSARY; ALSO, INSTALL STICKER SHOWING CORRECT RATING OF REPLACEMENT TIRES.
