Description

THE VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) PLACARD ON THESE TRAVEL TRAILERS DOES NOT HAVE THE CORRECT INDICATOR LENGTH. THIS DOES NOT COMPLY WITH FMVSS NO. 115, "VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER - BASIC REQUIREMENTS."

CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE IDENTIFIED CORRECTLY.

Remedy

JAYCO DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE INCORRECT INFORMATION WITH A NEW CORRECTED FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION STICKER, IDENTIFICATION PLATE AND THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE DATA CARD. A DUPLICATE CERTIFICATION OF OWNERSHIP WILL BE SENT TO THE CUSTOMER'S FINANCIAL INSTITUTION OR TO THE DEALER IF THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN SOLD.
