Description

IN THE COARSE OF DEALING WITH CONSUMER SATISFACTION ISSUES, EVENFLO HAD INADVERTENTLY SENT CONSUMERS IN THE UNITED STATES CHILD RESTRAINTS MANUFACTURED FOR SALE OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES, WHICH WERE NOT EQUIPPED WITH THE LATCH HARDWARD. THESE SEATS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 213, "CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEMS."

Injuries / Consequence

A CHILD TRAVELING IN A CAR SEAT THAT IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH THE TOP TETHER STRAP IS MORE AT RISK OF RECEIVING SERIOUS INJURIES IN THE EVENT OF A VEHICLE CRASH.

Remedy

EVENFLO HAS CONTACTED ALL FOURTEEN CUSTOMERS AND PROVIDED THEM WITH A FREE LATCH KIT.
