Description

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: THIS RECALL AFFECTS THE "CONVENIENCE BASE" OF THE SEAT ONLY. EVENFLO HAS DISCOVERED THAT AFTER REPEATED USE BY CONSUMERS, TWO ALIGNMENT POSTS IN THE ON MY WAY POSITION RIGHT BASE CAN BECOME BENT.

Injuries / Consequence

IF THE POSTS ARE BENT, CONSUMERS MAY HAVE DIFFICULTY INSTALLING THE CARRIER ONTO THE BASE. BENT POSTS COULD ALSO INTERFERE WITH PROPER LATCHING OF THE CARRIER TO THE BASE PREVENTING THE CHILD FROM BEING PROPERLY RESTRAINED IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH.

Remedy

OWNERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH METAL CLIPS WHICH CAN BE EASILY INSTALLED OVER THE PLASTIC POST. THESE CLIPS PREVENT THE POSTS FROM BENDING.
