Description

ABC BUS Inc. is recalling certain 2023-2024 Van Hool CX35 and CX45 vehicles equipped with Hydronic L-II heaters. The burner units may release excessive exhaust gas.

Injuries / Consequence

Excessive exhaust gas can result in smoke poisoning or cause a vehicle fire, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Owners are advised not to use the heaters until they have been repaired. Dealers will inspect, rework, and calibrate the heaters to avoid excessive exhaust gas values, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 27, 2024. Owners may contact ABC Bus customer service at 1-407-287-3184. ABC Bus number for this recall is 24E030.
